Mr. Edward P. Naso

Senior Director, Consulting Services

Mr. Ed Naso joined META Solutions in July 1999 as a Senior Director of Consulting Services. He is currently responsible for managing validation and other consulting projects for various clients.

Prior to joining META Solutions, Mr. Naso served as the Vice President of Systems for  UCT International (UCTi), an organization exclusively dedicated to central laboratory  testing and associated  services, such as data management for Phase I-IV clinical trials. He was responsible for managing all Information Technology activities, globally. Mr. Naso was the Director of Consulting Services at META Solutions from 1996 to 1998, during which time he actively managed validation activities for various clients.  Prior to joining the firm in 1996, he acted as an advisor and consultant to META Solutions primarily in the area of application systems analysis and detailed test plan development.  Mr. Naso provides expertise in a wide range of Information Technology areas, including Local Area Network installations, quality assurance, security penetration studies in Wide and Local Area Network environments, and EDP auditing in a client server environment. Mr. Naso has been involved in the EDP/MIS profession since 1968, initially as a programmer/analyst for Allied Chemical and later as a bank examiner for The New York Federal Reserve Bank.  He served as a senior manager for Coopers & Lybrand, one of the then "big six" accounting and consulting firms and held the position of Director of EDP Audit at Sony Corporation of America.

Mr. Naso has a Bachelor of Science Degree and a Master of Science Degree from Pratt Institute.  He received the "Certified Information Systems Auditor" certificate from the EDP Auditors Association in 1980.
